Yummy ramen but the portion sizes have gotten smaller over the years. The amount of toppings that you get for each ramen has also decreased. There were certain toppings that we really liked in the past that they don't serve or include in the ramen anymore. Overall, Ippudo is still a solid choice for ramen, it tastes great, just not sure if it's quite worth the price. For the quantity of food you get, it's pretty expensive--also, we're usually not quite full after eating a bowl and have to order extra noodles. Service is fine and the restaurant is clean.

Gave this place another try! I asked for hotter soup and they deliver this time! The soup is still on the oily side for me but it's more about personal preference. Casual place good for chatting. They didn't rush us to pay :)

Went to Japan earlier this year foe the first time ever, and now I'm craving ramen on a bi weekly basis... but nothing could compare to ramen in Japan. Finally, I took the plunge to drive down to Cupertino and was easily as impressed as the first time I had experienced my first slurp at Ippudo in Tokyo. My group of 2 had no wait when we went at 6pm on a Thursday. The Server was nice and attentive. We scanned the QR code on the table for the menu. Easy to order and enjoyed the nice quiet corner we were tucked in. I ordered: AKAMARU MODERN #I - pork broth, thin noodles with special miso paste, garlic oil, pork belly chashu, bean sprouts, mushrooms and scallions Can't wait to come back

We discovered Ippudo while exploring the area and decided to have it for dinner. It was crowded but we were offered seats at the counter for immediate seating. We ordered the Ebi Mayo to start, then the Akamaru Modern and Karaka Spicy (with egg). It was all so unbelievably delicious! The shrimp was lightly crisp, tender and flavorful. Our ramen noodles were perfect, and the broth was EXCELLENT. Portions were just right. Service was friendly and efficient. The space is clean, bright and modern. We are so happy to have found Ippudo -- even happier to discover a location in West Hollywood. We'll be there soon!
